Ukrayan with the Stars

I will admit this much: I am a fan of the original US edition of Dancing with the Stars. There came a time na mas inaabangan ko pa ito kaysa sa American Idol. Concept pa lang, patok na:

1) Take a handful of B-list celebrities (yung mga tinatawag na "Laotian" sa Pilipinas)
2) Pair them off with professional ballroom dancers (hindi yung mga "commissioner" at "attorney" na nambibiktima ng mga matrona)
3) Put them through weeks and weeks of formal dance training
4) Watch as they try to pass off their pathetic shuffling as "dancing"
5) Ignore the judges' comments, because they don't really matter that much in the long run (kung tutuusin, pag pinagsabihan ka ba naman na "there is more romance between Rosie O'Donnell and Donald Trump" kaysa sa inyong dalawa ng partner mo eh hindi mo din didibdibin iyon, ano?)

Siguro kung wala ka sa Tate eh hindi mo talaga maiintindihan kung sinu-sino ang mga "stars" na naisama dito sa programang ito, which might diminish your enjoyment slightly. But that shouldn't take away from the super fantastic dance numbers, tulad nito...

Forget, for a moment, that Apolo Anton Ohno used to be a super hot Olympic athlete (speed skating, to be exact), and let's concentrate on that tiger costume for a minute. Ano ito, Lion King? O baka naman ito ang homage nila doon sa dance number ni Sacha Baron Cohen sa Madagascar, kasi pag napapanood ko ang video na ito parang naiimagine kong si Borat ang kumakanta.

But that's nothing kung ikukumpara mo sa All Time Ultimate Dancing With The Stars Moment starring none other than Drew "Yung Kapatid ni Nick na Kumakanta Din Pero Naunang Mag-Asawa" Lachey...

There. Are. No. WORDS.
